'made in Germany'
The cutlery from 1959 is designed to be manufactured cost-effectively and with minimal use of materials from standardized stainless steel sheet – the 'monoblock'. This revolutionary, efficient production process is particularly noteworthy for the knife, as the handle and cutting edge were previously made from two pieces. Today, the knife in this series consists of two elements: the handle made of high-quality, stainless steel, and the blade made of hardened steel. This makes it dishwasher-safe and features a sharp blade, meeting today's demands. The flat, linear design with its elementary basic shapes is one of the classics of table culture today. Peter Raacke has significantly influenced the shaping of industrial design.
