New Woman, New Vision. The Bauhaus Women Photographers.

The exhibition at the Museum of Photography from 17 April to 4 October 2026 presents around 300 photographs from the collection of the Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design, Berlin. Many of the images are well known today, but only a few people know who created them. With this exhibition, the Bauhaus Archive is honoring the importance of these women artists and their photographic work comprehensively for the first time. The photographs by women artists of the Bauhaus are complemented by works by female artists from the Institute of Design in Chicago (New Bauhaus), the successor institution to the Bauhaus in the United States.
