New Woman, New Vision. The Bauhaus Women Photographers.

The exhibition at the Museum of Photography from April 17 to October 4, 2026, features around 300 photographs from the collection of the Bauhaus Archive / Museum of Design, Berlin. The subjects are well known today, but their female creators are known to only a few. With this exhibition, the Bauhaus Archive honors the significance of these female artists and their photographic work comprehensively for the first time. The photographs by the Bauhaus women are complemented by works from female artists of the Institute of Design in Chicago (New Bauhaus), the successor institution of the Bauhaus in the USA.
