The Bauhaus-Archiv GmbH, into which the Bauhaus Shop is incorporated, is the commercial subsidiary of the non-profit Bauhaus-Archiv e. V. in Berlin. With every purchase, you support the Bauhaus-Archiv and contribute to the research and preservation of the world's largest Bauhaus collection.
Thanks to donations from the Bauhaus-Archiv GmbH, which operates the Bauhaus Shop, the museum has already acquired numerous works for its collection. These include the large Bauhaus construction game by Alma Siedhoff-Buscher, an early version of the Bauhaus chess set, and the bachelor's cabinet by Josef Pohl.

Whether it's a potato peeler or a Bauhaus lamp, we carry design icons, innovations and simple standard shapes from all over the world. We place a particular focus on Scandinavian and Japanese design. Form and function, material and construction were the key words for Bauhaus designs. They also determine the program of the Bauhaus shop: we offer well-designed objects for everyday use, from the original Bauhaus design to contemporary design
