Designer: Peter Raacke, 1959

The cutlery from the year 1959 is designed to be manufactured cost-effectively and with material savings from standardized stainless steel sheet - the "monoblock". The revolutionary, rational production process is particularly noteworthy for the knife, as the handle and blade were previously made from two pieces. Today, the knife in this series consists of two elements: the handle made of noble, stainless steel, and the blade made of hardened steel. Thus, it is dishwasher safe and has a sharp blade, meeting today's requirements. The flat, straightforward design with its elemental basic shapes is now considered a classic of table culture. Peter Raacke significantly influenced the shaping of industrial design.
