Hedwig Bollhagen developed her watering can from a round vessel, whose side indentations also serve as the handle. Simply arising from its function, an organic shape is created here – one that does not otherwise appear in Bollhagen’s work. Her watering can 766 became a classic.
The stoneware watering can by Hedwig Bollhagen is now made in various colored glazes.
