Designer: Peter Raacke, 1959

The cutlery from 1959 was designed to be cost-effective and material-saving, made from a standardized stainless steel sheet called the "Monoblock."

The revolutionary and efficient manufacturing process is especially noteworthy for the knives, as until then, the handle and blade were made from two separate parts. Today, the knives in this series again consist of two elements: the handle made of fine stainless steel and the blade made of hardened steel. This makes them dishwasher safe, and their sharp blade meets the demands of our time. The flat, straightforward design with its basic shapes is now considered a major classic of table culture. Peter Raacke significantly influenced German and international industrial design.
