The first educational toy for children, developed around 1830 by Friedrich Fröbel.
These building sets are designed to support children in their physical and mental development – the set numbers correspond to the child's developmental stages: while Fröbel Set No. 3 aims to promote understanding of the relationship between part and whole, the following sets, No. 4 to No. 6, divide the cube into increasingly complex shapes. The wide variety of models is intended to enhance manual dexterity and convey an understanding of the formal structures in the environment.
Due to the very small size of the pieces, the Fröbel sets are not suitable for children under 4 years old. (OEM) Warning – not suitable for children under 36 months.
