The modular system makes the golden ratio, the epitome of harmonious structure, tangible. 16 building blocks with 7 different volumes each have proportions of approximately 1:1.618 and together form a cube. Here, the length of a rectangle relates to its width as the sum of length and width relates to the length. The most significant modern engagement with the golden ratio was achieved by Le Corbusier, who, among other things, developed a mathematical order system based on the golden ratio and human measurements in his writing Le Modulor 2 and implemented it in his buildings. The harmony continues in the color composition of the building blocks. It is no coincidence that when arranging the stones, one feels as if Le Corbusier meets Piet Mondrian: golden ratio in space as a composition with red, yellow, and blue. (OEM)
