Designer: Wolfgang Hartauer, 2015

The works of trained carpenter and studied architect Wolfgang Hartauer, born in 1971, share a common trait: a passion for precision, clear design, and order. This led to the creation of the storage systems Kasa, Meterware, and Cut, as well as the tables Lot and K8 for Tecta. "Take me in your hand and move me," his products seem to demand, forming a symbiosis of sensual, tactile, and precise design. When asked what he would like to do in a next life, he doesn't have to think long: "Become a watchmaker." Not really surprising, rather a consequence of his concept of aesthetics and order, which in his case fit together in the best sense.
