The Lamy Al-Star is a modern version of the 1980 Lamy Safari. It offers an ergonomic grip, a sturdy clip, and lightweight aluminum housing. The design combines anodized aluminum with transparent plastic, giving the pen a high-quality appearance. It is available in various colors and is now considered a classic.
The ballpoint pen uses the Lamy M16 refill, the rollerball uses the Lamy M63 refill, the pencil uses 0.7 mm leads, and the fountain pen uses Lamy T10 ink cartridges. Alternatively, the fountain pen can be filled directly from an ink bottle using the Lamy Z28 converter, which is more economical and environmentally friendly.
