Designer: Poul Kjaerholm, 1963

In 1963, Poul Kjærholm designed Fredericia's Town Hall and created the impressive PK-600, a 250 kg bowl made of black marble. Today, only ten examples are produced per year according to the architect's original plans. In response to the resounding success of the PK-600, Kjærholm developed the PK bowl so that everyone could enjoy this design piece in their home. The smooth interior and rough exterior of the granite bowl embody the exciting contrast between feminine and masculine elements.
