The espresso machine 9090, designed by Richard Sapper in 1979, has lost none of its brilliance to this day. The construction remains unique: the handle connects the espresso container with the lower part, which contains the powder cartridge and the water tank. No screws needed: simply latch the handle, which is attached to the upper part with a hinge, into the water tank. A large base area ensures good heat absorption and stability. The stainless steel edge of the spout allows drip-free pouring. A visually unusual but material-appropriate solution. The striking design language follows the function. The tapering cylinders follow their function of boiling and collecting. The stainless steel also gives the machine a distinguished appearance. (OEM)
