Classic design, contemporary interior - thanks to the quartz movement, it does not need to be wound up every day. Max Bill designed the strikingly simple dial, unadorned and easy to read. Its graphic design is characterized by clarity and successful proportions. The unmistakably curved glass, which can still only be made from plastic, is relatively scratch-resistant.
Max Bill designed the watch in 1962 for the hand-wound movement that was common at the time. For a long time there were four models. The manufacturer has been offering variations of the old design for several years under the name "Max Bill by Junghans". The watch is now available in several sizes with a quartz movement, with an automatic movement or as a chronoscope. The watch faces and bracelets are also regularly varied in color.
