Designer: Wilhelm Wagenfeld, 1924
  • original Bauhaus model
  • Made in Germany

Wilhelm Wagenfeld designed this tea caddy in 1924 in the Bauhaus metal workshop. Originally made of nickel silver, it is now produced in nickel-plated brass. The basic shape consists of a cylinder. The arched, raised wall and the rounded lid handle are the only eye-catchers. The omission of any ornamentation and forms that owe their existence solely to function give the caddy its timeless appearance and place the focus on the material and proportions of the body. (OEM)
