Based on a hemisphere and cylinder, the Tac teapot is defined by a streamlined shape. The concave curvature of the pouring spout is mirrored in the handle of the pot. The handle of the pot lid is an optical extension of the handle. A special feature hidden away: a porcelain tea strainer can be screwed into the lid. Milk and sugar bowls in the ensemble represent all the design elements of the pot. The pot handle - turned by 180° - can be found in the handle of the cups. (OEM)
The tea strainer has a special strainer lid as a holder. From a design perspective, the strainer with the lid is functional and useful. However, the porcelain strainer developed fifty years ago only has limited openings due to the material. As a result, it hardly corresponds to today's ideas of tea preparation.
