Designer: Carl Pott, 1952

The Chancellor Cutlery. Representative, simple, and functional - quality from Solingen.

The cutlery, designed in the 1950s, is produced with great care: up to 90 different handcrafted steps are still used today to manufacture the pieces in the manufactory of the "City of Blades." Carl Hugo Pott, inspired by the design ideas of the Bauhaus and the Werkbund, created the cutlery with its unmistakable, timeless line.

In the 1960s, the Federal Chancellery and many German embassies were equipped with this cutlery series, which earned it the nickname "Chancellor Cutlery."
