Designed in the 1950s, this cutlery is produced with great care: even today, the pieces are made at the manufactory in the “City of Blades” in up to 90 different, painstakingly executed steps. Inspired by the design ideas of the Bauhaus and the Deutscher Werkbund, Carl Hugo Pott designed this cutlery with its distinctive, timeless lines.
In the 1960s, the Federal Chancellery and many German embassies were equipped with this cutlery series, earning it the nickname “Chancellor’s cutlery.”
