Designer: max bill

'made in Germany'

Classic design, contemporary interior – thanks to the quartz movement, it doesn't need to be wound daily. Max Bill designed the strikingly simple dial, unadorned and easy to read. Its graphic design is characterized by clarity and successful proportions. The distinctive domed glass, which can still only be made of plastic, is relatively scratch-resistant.
Max Bill designed the watch in 1962 for the then-standard hand-wound movement; for a long time, there were four models. The manufacturer has been offering variations of the original design for several years under the name "Max Bill by Junghans." The watch is now available in several sizes with a quartz movement, an automatic movement, or as a chronoscope. The watch faces and straps are also regularly varied in color.
