Designer: Hedwig Bollhagen

Hedwig Bollhagen's cookie jar from 1977 has become a classic. A very simple cubic shape—but not all that easy to produce—with a mushroom-shaped knob. It has been available for decades, in a wide variety of monochrome designs, including one of Hedwig Bollhagen's incised designs.

The cookie tin is still manufactured today in the Hedwig Bollhagen workshops in Marwitz near Berlin.
