Heavy cast iron grinds fine herbs: the top and bottom of the spice mill have a pyramid-shaped relief. When you turn the lid, the herbs are ground by the weight of the cast iron. Pepper and similar grains can be ground with the mill, but this requires a little force. The rounded shape means the mill fits perfectly in your hand when grinding.

The ground spices can be stored in the cast iron upper part, and the wooden lid with silicone seal closes the container.

There is a cast iron salt container to match the spice mill.

The mills are treated with Swedish rapeseed oil on the inside. They are given a black coat of varnish on the outside so that the cast iron does not rub off during use.

The swing mills are manufactured in Sweden, and production is still partly handcrafted.

Please note: the grinder is only suitable for dry herbs.
The mill and lid are not dishwasher safe as the cast iron would rust. For the same reason, the spice mills are not suitable for salt.
