Three surfaces and a broom handle make this cult object a multifunctional piece of furniture: the 'Ulm stool' is useful as a seat, side table, tray, storage element or transport container. It was designed in 1954 by Max Bill and Hans Gugelot for the students of the HFG Ulm. If you believe what people say, the students transported their books using the right-angled frame.
