The bento is a meal that is served in a portable container with compartments. Lunch "to go" is a centuries-old tradition in Japan. A filling meal can be taken to the field or to the office in simple bamboo rolls or artistically lacquered wooden boxes. Rice, salad, vegetables, meat or fish are separated from each other by partitions.
According to the Japanese manufacturer, these bento boxes made of recycled plastic are airtight thanks to the rubber band and a silicone seal; however, they are not 100% suitable for liquids. The variable divider allows the interior to be divided into compartments of different sizes. The upper container can also be used separately.
The bento boxes from Japan are free of PBA and suitable for dishwashers and microwaves.
