Designer: Max Bill, 1956

Max Bill designed two wall clocks for the company Junghans in 1956 | Still made in Germany today.

They reflect Max Bill's idea of creating useful objects with as much central functionality as possible. Thus, a clock face contains delicate lines, with the hour marks clearly dividing the face. A quick glance is enough.
The clock face with numbers is divided by the hour numbers, which were also designed by Max Bill. It all does not appear spectacular, nor is it meant to be. The restrained graphic design of the clocks seems to fade into the wall in simple beauty. The wall clocks with numbered and marked faces are available in 22 cm and 30 cm diameters. (OEM)
