The building blocks are intended to accompany children in their physical and psychological development – with the numbers of the boxes corresponding to the developmental stages of the child: while Fröbel gift no.3 is meant to promote the understanding of the part to the whole, the subsequent boxes no.4 - no.6 divide the cube into increasingly complex shapes. The variety of options is intended to promote manual dexterity and develop an understanding of the form structures of the environment.
