The poster for the 1923 Bauhaus exhibition is one of the best-known Bauhaus graphics. Joost Schmidt adopted the stylized head from Oskar Schlemmer's signet and placed it in a composition of geometric shapes and characters. The left tilt makes the figure appear floating, creating a harmonious overall effect. The original measures 60.5 x 48 cm and is part of the collection of the Bauhaus Archive Berlin.
