This tray features a low, curved edge as well as integrated handles and is pressed from a single piece of aluminum sheet. It is corrosion-resistant and anodized in color. Measuring 35 x 17.5 cm, the tray has been manufactured directly in London by the London-based maker Kaymet since 1947. The idea to produce trays from anodized aluminum came from Sydney Schreiber, the founder of Kaymet. After World War II, when the production of aluminum parts for radio and radar equipment ended, the company sought a new use for its machines and developed this product.
