Designer: David Chipperfield, 2019
The Moka is a tribute to the first espresso pot for private households, developed by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933. With its distinctive octagonal shape, it became an icon of Italian design.
For his design, architect David Chipperfield adopted the well-known form, which he simplified and modernized. New details include, for example, the flat lid, on which you can warm an espresso cup while cooking.
Please note: the versions for 1 cup, 3 cups, and 6 cups are suitable for gas, electric, and ceramic cooktops.
The version for 9 cups is also suitable for induction cooktops.
