Heavy cast iron grinds fine herbs: the upper and lower parts of the spice mill are equipped with a pyramid-shaped relief. When turning the lid, herbs are already ground by the weight of the cast iron. Pepper and similar grains can be crushed with the mill, which requires some effort. The rounded shape makes the mill fit perfectly in the hand while grinding.

The ground spice can be stored in the cast iron top part, and the wooden lid with silicone seal closes the container.

The mills are treated inside with Swedish rapeseed oil. Outside, they receive a black lacquer coating so that the cast iron does not stain during use.

The Swing mills are made in Sweden, and production is still partially handcrafted.

Please note: the mill is only suitable for dry herbs.
The mill and lid are not dishwasher safe, as the cast iron would rust. For the same reason, the spice mills are not suitable for salt.
