The cutlery from 1959 is designed in such a way that it can be manufactured from standardized stainless steel sheet - the 'monoblock' - in a cost-effective and material-saving manner. The revolutionary, rational production process is particularly noteworthy for the knife, as the handle and cutting edge were previously made from two pieces. Today, the knife in this series consists of two elements: the handle made from high-quality, rust-proof steel, the blade made from hardened steel. This makes it dishwasher-safe and has a sharp blade, in line with today's requirements. The flat, straight-lined design with its elementary basic shapes is one of the classics of table culture today. Peter Raacke has had a significant influence on the shape of industrial design.
