A classy classic for keeping tea warm - a three-legged frame made of nickel-plated brass surrounds a cylindrical opal glass body. The teapot warmer was created at the time when Wilhelm Wagenfeld was head of the metal workshop at the Bauhochschule, the successor school to the Bauhaus in Weimar. The combination of metal and glass, the additive design, the clearly visible screwed connections and the curved sheet metal are typical of many objects from this period.
