Bauhaus construction kit original Bauhaus model

Alma Siedhoff-Buscher, a pioneer in toy design at the Bauhaus, formulated her vision in 1926: children should have the freedom to fully express their imagination through play spaces and building blocks.

Her best-known work, the Bauhaus Building Set from 1923, illustrates this in the subtitle as a ship that can also serve as a roller coaster, gate, animal, or many other things. To celebrate the Bauhaus anniversary in 2019, a white reinterpretation was released in collaboration with the Bauhaus Archive Museum of Design.
