Johannes Itten developed his version of the color wheel in 1961. To illustrate the mixing behavior of additive colors, his graphic-systematic representation is wonderfully suited for teaching and learning. The outer color wheel shows 12 colors: including the primary colors yellow, red, and blue, the secondary colors orange, green, and violet, as well as six additional intermediate colors. The complementary colors are positioned opposite each other on the wheel. Inside the circle, the primary and secondary colors are illustrated separately once again. The paint box offers, in addition to light and dark shades, black and opaque white. The lid of the box contains several wells for mixing the water-soluble color pigments. Caution – not suitable for children under 36 months. Opaque paint box according to DIN 5023.
Achtung - Nicht geeignet für Kinder unter 36 Monaten. Deckfarbkasten nach DIN 5023.
