This tray features a low, curved edge and integrated handles, and is pressed from a single piece of aluminum sheet. It is corrosion-resistant and color-anodized. Measuring 35 x 17.5 cm, the tray has been manufactured by London-based manufacturer Kaymet since 1947. The idea of producing anodized aluminum trays originated with Sydney Schreiber, Kaymet's founder. After World War II, when production of aluminum parts for radio and radar equipment ended, the company sought a new use for its machines and developed this product.
