The Moka is a tribute to the first espresso pot for the home, which Alfonso Bialetti developed in 1933. With its distinctive octagonal shape, it became an icon of Italian design.

For his design, architect David Chipperfield took the familiar shape, simplified it, and modernized it. New details include the flat lid, which you can use to warm up a cup of espresso while cooking.

Please note: the 1 cup, 3 cup and 6 cup versions are suitable for gas, electric and ceramic hobs.
The version for 9 cups is also suitable for induction hobs.
