Designer: david chipperfield, 2019
The Moka is a homage to the first espresso pot for the home, developed by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933. With its distinctive octagonal shape, it became an icon of Italian design.
For his design, architect David Chipperfield adopted the familiar form, simplifying and modernizing it. New details include, for example, the flat lid, which can be used to warm an espresso cup while cooking.
Please note: The 1-cup, 3-cup, and 6-cup versions are suitable for gas, electric, and ceramic hobs.
The 9-cup version is also suitable for induction hobs.
