Designer: Wilhelm Wagenfeld, 1928
  • original Bauhaus model
  • Made in Germany

A noble classic for keeping tea warm – a three-legged frame made of nickel-plated brass frames a cylindrical opal glass body. This teapot warmer was created during the time when Wilhelm Wagenfeld was head of the metal workshop at the Bauhochschule, the successor to the Bauhaus in Weimar. The combination of metal and glass, the additive design, the clearly visible screwed connections, and the curved sheet metal are typical of many objects from this period.

Tea warmer made of nickel-plated brass and opal glass.
