Designer: Wolfgang Hartauer, 2015

The work of trained carpenter and architect Wolfgang Hartauer, born in 1971, shares one common thread: a passion for precision, clear design, and order. This is how the Kasa, Meterware, and Cut storage systems, as well as the Lot and K8 tables for Tecta, came about. "Take me in your hand and move me," his products seem to demand, forming a symbiosis of sensual, tactile, and precise design. If you ask him what he would like to do in his next life, he doesn't have to think twice: "Become a watchmaker." Not really surprising, but rather a consequence of his understanding of aesthetics and order, which, for him, go hand in hand in the best possible way.
