Designer: Ettore Sottsass

A beautiful contour: rounded stainless steel caps and glass cylinders reveal their origin from the seventies.

The condiment set by Ettore Sottsass, part of an entire collection of tableware, is based on the simple assembly of a cylinder and a hemisphere. The oil and vinegar containers, also made of glass and stainless steel, have a plastic pouring spout. Stainless steel pins, repeating the cylinder shape, protrude from a base plate—composed of a rectangle and a semicircle—and secure the vessels. The repetition of the half-round shape is found in the handle of the condiment set, which in the center of the containers echoes the rounded cap. The unity of the set is based on the repetition of basic shapes and influenced countless vessel designs in the years that followed.

Menage: Öl, Essig, Salz und Pfeffer aus Edelstahl 18/10 glänzend poliert und Kristallglas.
