The espresso machine 9090, designed by Richard Sapper in 1979, has lost none of its brilliance to this day.
Its construction remains unique: the handle connects the espresso container with the lower part, which houses the coffee pod and the water tank. No screws needed: simply snap the handle, which is attached to the upper part with a hinge, into the water tank. A large base ensures good heat absorption and stability. The stainless steel edge of the spout allows drip-free pouring. A visually unusual but material-appropriate solution. The striking design follows the function. The tapering cylinders correspond to their purpose of heating and collecting. The stainless steel also gives the machine an elegant appearance. (OEM)
