In 1956, Max Bill designed two wall clocks for Junghans — still made in Germany today.
They reflect Max Bill’s idea of creating useful objects with the greatest possible functional clarity. One dial features fine lines, with the hour markers clearly segmenting the face. A quick glance is all it takes.
The numbered dial is divided by the hour numerals, which were also designed by Max Bill. None of this is spectacular, nor is it meant to be. The clocks’ understated graphic design seems to disappear into the wall in its simple beauty. The numbered-dial and line-dial wall clocks are available in diameters of 22 cm and 30 cm. (OEM)
