The chessboard for the Bauhaus chess pieces dispenses with traditional borders, numbers, and letters.
It was designed to match the radical design of the pieces, which consist of simple geometric shapes and make the moves clearly visible. This chessboard emphasizes the functional aesthetic and complements the modern interpretation of the game as a minimalist art object.
